My Story
I grew up in a small agricultural community in southern Israel/Palestine. I studied psychology and worked as a software developer to pay the rent. I moved to Ottawa, Canada, with my spouse when we were twenty-five. We lived in Ottawa for ten years, where we had two children and have been raising them ever since. In 2014, we moved the whole family to London, UK.
I have always been telling stories and writing. The first real stories I wrote were in high school for my English teacher. I then studied psychology and wrote papers telling the story of my research. One long one was the PhD thesis. In between, I blogged in Hebrew (my first language) when we moved to Canada, mostly to keep the family updated. I had another blog called Developmental Mommy, which I wrote while pursuing my PhD in child development research and raising two children. I stopped writing there in the summer of 2016 when I moved to blog here.
